Damien Hewetson is a photographer based in London, fascinated by the urban environment by which he is surrounded.
Over the last seven years or so, Damien has travelled across the world taking numerous photographs in the cities he has visited. He would be the first to say that one of the developments in his photography over that time is undoubtedly a fascination with abandoned buildings, especially those with stunning architecture.
Damien is a key worker in London and during the corona virus lockdown, on his commutes to work, he has been presented with empty, almost abandoned, streets. He has captured them, as he sees them. These photographs have not been air-brushed to create the effect. This is the London of the 2020 lockdown.
The gallery below shows a selection of some of Damien’s extraordinary images that are available from us to be printed as wallpaper.
